Residential Real Estate Market Reports for the Waterloo Region
Prices in Cambridge have increased almost 6% from 2011 to 2012, while inventory levels have remained steady. 3,677 residential properties in Cambridge listed on our board in 2012 with 2,073 sale our average days on the market remains 42.
Kitchener has remained relatively stable throughout 2012 with a modest increase in market activity and a similar increase in the average price. Currently Kitchener’s average sale price sits at $272,537.
Waterloo experienced an elevated supply of inventory throughout 2012 with the number of new listings up just under 14% from 2011 and sales down 0.6%. Despite this increase in supply the average price in Waterloo has remained strong, up 2.39% to $323,977.
