Ontario Family Fishing Events is a province-wide opportunity for Canadian residents to fish Ontario waters without the otherwise mandatory fishing version outdoors card. There has never been a better time to go fishing with your family!
July 7th to 10th – Kultrun World Music Festival 2022
An outdoor music festival celebrating the music of the world. Music performers, arts and crafts, workshops and delicious fares!
July 7th & 21st – Movies in the Park Waterloo
Bring a blanket and watch movies on the big outdoor screen! Hosted in Waterloo Park near the Bandshell.
July 8th – Scotland’s Yard Road Hockey Classic
A classic street hockey tournament featuring numerous NHL and pro hockey players, all with the purpose of raising money for local kids’ cancer care.
July 8th – Preston Food Crawl
Everyone is invited to come out and discover a taste of Preston.

The biggest street party of the year is back with classic cars lining King Street surrounded by live entertainment and bustling patios.
July 9th – Hespeler Village Music Festival
A non-profit, community-driven event coordinated by volunteers. Vendors, food trucks, children’s activities & more! It is a celebration of community!
July 9th – Downtown Cambridge Main Street Pop-Up Market
Every month the Main Street Pop-Up Market will have a different theme and selection of vendors to visit. This month’s theme is Healthy Living for Mind and Body.
July 13th – Campfire Uptown Waterloo
Bring a blanket or your favourite hoodie and head uptown! Gather around the campfire in the Square with friends and neighbours for local music, games and more. Second Wednesday of the month from May-August from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
July 15th & 16th – Cambridge Scottish Festival
Waterloo Region’s only Scottish Festival – Join us to experience a wee taste of ‘Scotland on the Grand’! The two-day festival features traditional games, food, music, exhibitors and speakers.
July 15th to 17th – Downtown Kitchener Ribfest & Craft Beer Show
Enjoy mouth-watering barbequed ribs and chicken, an incredible selection of Ontario craft-brewed beer, plus live entertainment and a Kids Fun Zone – all in the open atmosphere of Victoria Park.
July 16th – Southwestern Ontario Hot Sauce Festival
Come out to the Village of St. Jacobs for the first annual festival. Meet local artisan hot sauce makers from Southwestern Ontario for hot sauce tastings, contests, food, drink, music and more!
July 22nd to 24th – Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival
An annual 3 day FREE music festival with lots to see and do – family activities, food trucks, beverage service, and Jazz!
July 29th – Art Market Uptown Waterloo
Featuring artists, crafters, and makers from Waterloo and surrounding area selling outside at the Waterloo Public Square. The market runs 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesdays until Aug 23rd – Pups & Poses Summer Yoga Series
Join The Attic Yoga and Dog Friendly KW in Victoria Park on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm this summer for Pups & Poses – a free summer yoga series where you and your pup can show up together to find calm and connection in your local community.
