October 6th – Main Street Music Series
Featuring some of the best and brightest musicians in the Region and South Western Ontario, two acts each week will take to the street in downtown Galt for your enjoyment! Do a little shopping beforehand, then grab some food and sit n enjoy!
October 7th to 10th – Rockton World’s Fair
The annual fair is a family fun event for all ages, a place to learn and a celebration of Ontario’s agricultural bounty. Visitors can see farm animals, participate in hands-on agricultural exhibits, and enjoy livestock, home craft and hobby competitions.
October 10th – KW Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade
Your Thanksgiving weekend just got a whole lot more exciting! The annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade is BACK for 2022 and we’re so excited that we want to SHOUT THIS FROM THE ROOFTOPS!
October 12th – Campfire Uptown Waterloo – Halloween Edition
Bring a blanket or your favourite hoodie and head uptown! Gather around the campfire in the Square with friends and neighbours for local music, games and more.
October 15th to 16th – Frederick Art Walk
The Frederick Art Walk is a 3km autumn walking tour through the Central Frederick Neighbourhood in Kitchener. Each year, local artists come together to offer their art for sale as a community and welcome people into this unique neighbourhood.
October 22nd to 23rd – Kissing Bridge Trail Studio Tour
Our 2022 tour will feature 20 artists! Studio locations vary from personal home studios to commercial spaces and are located in St Jacobs, Elmira, and Winterbourne.
October 28th – Hockey Helps the Homeless
We believe that every Canadian should have a safe place to call home and the supports that they need to thrive. To ensure all homeless and at-risk Canadians have a fighting chance, we host Pro-Am hockey tournaments across Canada where players raise funds to make a direct impact in their own community.
October 28th to 29th – St. Jacobs Pumpkin Parade
Throw on your Halloween costumes and enjoy an evening of jack-o-lanterns, activities and shopping.
October 29th – Night of the Living Market
Come to the Market for a Halloween party like no other! After dark the Market transforms into a spooky soiree with a dancefloor and DJ, Market Bar with fangtastic feature drinks, costume competition, appetizer stations and a themed photo booth.
October 31st – Halloween Howl at Idea Exchange
Visit with your little monsters for tricks and treats!
